The idea of the LECS I was inspired by the need to find a solution for those who are hurting. However, taking LECS I from a mere idea on a piece of paper and transforming it to what it is today was accomplished through working with doctors, nurses and medical device professionals.
Consulting with some of the best urology doctors about the LECS I inspired the idea for expanding the line of devices to include Foley catheter stabilization, thus making it more accessible to global markets and healthcare personnel.
Over the last three years, the LECS product line has gone through extensive testing and design modifications. Each device is fully patented worldwide as a Class I medical device. When it came to biocompatibility testing, our unique thermoplastic elastomers passed with a 100% rating! Our clinical validation process is published in scientific journals globally, as well as on our website.
Partnering with the leading urology hospital in the world, the General Hospital of Mexico City, Levity tested the LECS products on more than 400 patients. Through this study, we determined the efficacy of the device and validated its claims.
To ensure our readiness, Levity identified the medical markets where our devices can make a difference. This included facilities like nursing homes, global V.A.s and pediatric hospitals where individuals with bladder issues can improve their quality of life.
We also prepared materials to inform doctors, nurses and patient caregivers about how we can help, and reached out to our partners to help spread the word about our products.
